Last we talked about the rumored Acer Iconia B1 tab it was back in December. And we were actually really excited about the prospect of a 99$ tablet. The word was that Acer is planning to announce the cheap tablet at CES next week.
Just like there is trend of 1080p smartphones, super cheap 7 inch tablets are also in demand. Acer is looking to capitalize that with its latest Acer Iconia B1 tablet. The fourth largest personal computer manufacturer is seeking its fortune in the ripe tablet markets. This information is revealed by Wall Street Journal which claims to have spoken with an anonymous source with direct knowledge about the project.
