Android 2.2 Software OTA Update Rolling Out to Motorola Droid Users
About a week ago, Verizon was supposed to start updating Motorola Droid devices with Android 2.2, but for some reason, Big Red stopped the update indefinitely. While it was supposed that the build would be modified and changed, it has not. Build FRG01B is the same as it has always been and if you still haven’t received the update, you can check your system updates to see if it is available.

Best Buy first revealed the expected launch date of the Motorola Droid 2 when an internal document said it would ship August 12.
