RealPlayer used to be on almost everybody’s computer but, once YouTube and iTunes among others took off, RealPlayer began to be overlooked and now, compared to being on almost everyone’s computer it is most likely on very few computers, mine included. However RealNetworks have continued to work on their all encompassing media player and have been working on an Android application. The company released a beta version for Android smartphones but, have now released the app for all to use.

Google have released an update to their Google Wallet app which will enable more people to be able to use it. Previously, once the free $10 credit had run out, you could only use a Citi Mastercard or prepaid debit card with the application. With the latest Google Wallet update support for Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards has been added. Robin Dua, Google Wallet product manager, explained that Google had changed their technical approach for storing cards which has allowed them to support all debit and credit cards.
