Are you a heavy Foursquare user? I mean, can’t you live without checking-in to Foursquare everytime you arrive at a certain place? How does checking-in to Foursquare by simply saying, well “check-in to name of place” sounds? Well, surprisingly, you can now do this using Vlingo Voice Android app.
It was quite a surprise really. Vlingo and Foursquare teaming up to make the otherwise “boring” task of FourSquare check-in a little bit exciting and easier.
Another day, another new social networking app for Android has just been made available. If FourSquare lets you check-in to places you”ve visited, the new GetGlue Android offers the same experience but this time for checking-in to your favorite shows, music, movies, and books. This Android app also lets you check out what your friends are enjoying in real-time. To make your GetGlue check-in experience even more enticing, every check-ins earn you points and stickers from GetGlue and its major sponsors.
Finally, after several hours of waiting, TweetDeck fans were given access to the much awaited TweetDeck app for Android. The app which is currently in beta is not yet available from the Android Market. You’ll have to follow some procedures to get it working on your Android phone. Instructions are posted at the end of this review. I’ve got it running on my Nexus One right now and has set up my Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz and Foursquare account. One thing I could say, like what I’ve posted awhile ago in all of those accounts is that – TweetDeck for Android rocks!
