Yesterday we reported that Mozilla had released version 15 of their Firefox Android app. At the time we said that while they may not have been super quick with ported the popular browser to Android, they were certainly making up for that by constantly improving the app and now we have news of Firefox 16 beta.

Mozilla has just released the latest beta version of Firefox Mobile Android app one month after the first version was released. This is actually a good thing. Very vintage of the Mozilla folks who are continously enhancing their browser products. Major issues that were addressed by the new beta version include reduce memory usage, improved text rendering and 60% reduction in install size.
