Google have announced that they will soon be discontinuing their Prepaid Card program. Before the latest Google Wallet update was released, only prepaid cards could be used with the Android app, or Citi Mastercards. Google have released an update to their Google Wallet app which will enable more people to be able to use it. Previously, once the free $10 credit had run out, you could only use a Citi Mastercard or prepaid debit card with the application. With the latest Google Wallet update support for Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards has been added.
