New photos of a white Nexus 4 surfaced just ahead Google’s I/O conference, this happened after the initial photos were leaked back in January by an insider.
It has been reported by Reuters that Google is aiming to start selling their second generation tablet in July. AsusTek retains the production rights to the slated Google product so we can look forward to a solid and reliable construction. There has been a change in the lineup however; The Nvidia Tegra chip has been sidelined in favor of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon.
Last week Nvidia did some benchmarks regarding its latest SoC and they blew every one out of the water. We felt that Qualcomm may be a bit shaken. The Tegra 4 is one hell of a fast chip, and it’s shaping up to provide some amazing visuals too.
After NVIDIA announced its latest and mightiest Tegra 4 chip, we were worried that Qualcomm might lag behind this year. But Qualcomm was also hiding a microscopic ace up its sleeve and made us excited about its new line of mobile processing chips. Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 800 at CES yesterday and it looks to pack a powerful punch.
