Along with the announcement of the Motorola Droid 2 yesterday, Verizon Wireless announced the special edition R2-D2 Droid 2 in honor of the Star Wars series. Even though the Droid 2 officially launches tomorrow, the special edition Droid 2 is still weeks away, as it will launch online only sometime in September.
Another day and another leak of information regarding the highly anticipated Motorola Droid 2. Best Buy first revealed the expected launch date of the Motorola Droid 2 when an internal document said it would ship August 12. Now, a local Best Buy pinned a price tag on a dummy Moto Droid 2 which is probably the real deal when it launches.
Can’t wait any longer until HTC rolls out the official Android 2.2 OTA update? Well I have some good news, a member of XDA-Developers forum managed to locate the stock Android 2.2 with Sense update for the HTC Droid Incredible.
