Horse Stable Tycoon is a new Android game from Living Code Labs that lets you run your own stable where you’ll buy and sell horses. As a fan of simulation games I knew I had to check this one out, and was quite surprised at what I found. The graphics may look simple, but the game itself is far from simple. There’s a lot more to being a Horse tycoon than you think as you’ll have to groom them, make sure they stay happy, and even clean up a little poop.

Right around September 7th Kariosoft dropped a new game called Pocket League Story into the market, and my free time took a major hit. The company is well known for their engrossing games, and they stuck to that winning formula for Pocket League Story. Instead of building a Video Game empire, running a Spa or racing in Grand Prix’s you’ll build a Soccer Team and try to take them to the top. To be the best you’ve got to beat the best, and there are plenty of teams to take on along the way.

Kariosoft has finally released the English version of Pocket League Story and I, for one, am excited. The mysterious game makers known as Kariosoft have become well known for their popular line of “Story” games. If you’ve ever played Game Dev Story or Grand Prix Story (sorry Hot Springs) you know their games are highly addictive, and like some sort of gaming-crack. Fans have been foaming at the mouth for an English version of Pocket League since July, and now the wait is over.

Here at Android-Apps we love RPG games, and Star Traders RPG by Corey Trese is definitely one of the best out there. It’s not your typical Final Fantasy type game either… it’s actually an awesome turn-based strategy game/RPG that’s set in space. You’ll have to manage your supplies and crew while running missions, trading and fighting throughout the galaxy. Star Traders RPG is by far the most in-depth game I’ve played on Android, and it’s also a game that proves you don’t need 3D graphics to make an outstanding game.

Game Dev Story is a great game put out by Kairosoft Co Ltd. that puts you in charge of running your own Video Game company. You get to do a little bit of everything in this simulation game from hiring employees, producing the actual games and essentially running the business. The game has a great, retro 8-bit feel and is very easy to play. It’s actually extremely hard to stop playing once you start, and has a lot of depth along with some great features.
