This seems to be the year in which Sony makes the triumphant return to the smartphone top game. Sony spotted a great opportunity at CES, and launched its flagship devices while other OEMs were taking a break. The Sony Xperia Z and its brother Sony Xperia ZL were clearly the stars of the show.
After being subjected to many leaks and unofficial spec sheets, the long awaited Xperia Z finally gets an official unveiling. At the CES 2013 press conference this afternoon, Sony announced its latest flagship phone which is aiming to dominate the early quarter of this year.
The Sony Xperia Z is kind of like Lindsey Lohan in her prime time, everyone wanted to see what she had to show and boy show she did. The Sony Xperia Z has been doing the same, popping up here and there after a while, catching our attention and making us drool (well me at least). Once again thanks to a Weibo user, a guy named Alfred (yeah batman’s butler) we have gotten a good look at the upcoming smartphone.
People who are looking for an entry level smartphone can look forward to the new device unveiled by Sony earlier today. The Sony Xperia E is aimed at the first time smartphone users who want to “check out” what all the fuss is about. Also those who want to save some bucks and still use Android Jelly Bean also have something to keep an eye on.
