A Mobile Physical Therapy Exercise Documenter (amPTed) is an alternative the the traditional physical therapy home exercise plan (HEP) printouts. With this application you can take your rehabilitation exercises everywhere with you on your Android powered device.How to use amPTed:Once the therapist has created the HEP and you have downloaded this app, scan the QR code by clicking "Load HEP." When the plan is finished loading to your Android device, click "My Exercises" to open the plan. The list of exercises chosen by the therapist will appear. Choose an exercise to complete.Exercises can be viewed in several ways:1) Text descriptions written in easy-to-understand language.2) Series of photographs of real people performing the exercise.3) Select exercises can be viewed on YouTube with closed captioning and narrations by clicking on the video button under the exercise thumbnail.When an exercise is completed, provide feedback to your therapist by submitting the date and time of completion along with a pain scale numeric value and any other notes that are necessary.
