Test the rebound of footballs, basketballs, and tennis balls against the FIFA/FIBA/ITF regulations. All you need to do is to let a ball bounce three times – Ball Tester detects the bounces acoustically and calculates the COR (coefficient of restitution), or "bounciness", of the ball.To bounce as intended, the COR of a ball should be within the target range. A too low COR means that a ball is not bouncing high enough. To bring the COR of a basketball or a football within the regulations you can try to adjust its air pressure.Note that the COR varies slightly depending on the impact velocity. Therefore you should try to achieve a first bounce that is close to the regulated drop height, even though Ball Tester calculates the COR in any case. Ideally the ball should not travel horizontally, so that the distance from the device to each rebound point does not vary. The following balls are supported at the moment:- Basketballs- Outdoor footballs (soccer)- Beach soccer footballs- Futsal footballs- Tennis balls
