This is the only application available on android market so far which displays the butterfly names in Marathi. It works in offline mode and is very easy to use as a "field guide" at butterflying sites.The application covers many of the common species of butterflies. Desktop widget showing random butterflyThe application also offers search based on Marathi names. Currently many of the Android operating systems doesn’t support Devnagari font. To overcome this challenge; the application allows users to perform search in Marathi by typing the names in English script. For example: ‘Limbali’, ‘bahurupi’ etc.Desktop widget is one more cool feature which displays "Butterfly Info" on home screen.
