The Cross Country Scorekeeper app is meant to help coaches (or parents) estimate meet scores quickly.The app tracks up to 8 teams, displaying team score, team ranks (after 5 runners have placed), and individual runners’ placements.For each team:Runners 1-5 are factored into the team scoreRunner 6 is used to break tiesRunner 7 is displayed, but serves no functionRunners 8+ are effectively ignored (to preserve correct scoring)For larger meets, the 8th team can be replaced with a "Dummy Team" which is not scored, but can hold many more runners, allowing you to track meets with up to 250 runners.Team Names and Colors are set before the meet, and scores are tallied during the meet by tapping the team buttons as runners go by.
