Diabetesdagboka er et selvhjelpsverktøy for deg som har diabetes, utviklet av Nasjonalt senter for samhandling og telemedisin (NST) i Tromsø. Denne appen gir deg mulighet til å registrere og lagre blodsukker, insulindosering, karbohydratinntak og fysisk aktivitet som i en vanlig dagbok. Alt som registreres i dagboka bygger opp en database som etter hvert vil kunne gi deg oversikt over tidligere hendelser og situasjoner, og dermed være til veiledning og hjelp med valg av mat og medisinering. Gjennom mange prosjekter over flere år har et forskningsteam ved NST sammen med brukerne forbedret og videreutviklet appen som har fått navnet Diabetesdagboka. Forskningen har vist at gode mobilapplikasjoner kan forbedre helsa og livskvaliteten for folk med diabetes.Diabetesdagboka lanseres nå som et resultat av denne forskningen. Videreutvikling skjer kontinuerlig i dialog med brukere fra forskningsprosjekter og Diabetesdagboka vil jevnlig oppdateres og utvides basert på disse innspill. Husk at du kanskje ikke vil at andre skal ha tilgang til denne informasjonen. Du kan for eksempel beskytte den ved å låse telefonen med et mønster eller en kode. Normalt lagres databasen på et sted som bare kan leses av DiabetesDagboka. Hvis du velger å eksportere databasen, vil den også kunne leses av andre applikasjoner.Diabetes Diary is a self-help tool for people who have diabetes, developed by the National Centre for Telemedicine (NST) in Tromsø. This app allows you to record and store glucose, insulin dose, carbohydrate intake and physical activity as a regular diary. All that is recorded in the diary build a database that will eventually be able to give you an overview of past events and situations, and thus be of guidance and assistance with selection of food and medication.Through many projects over several years, a research team at NST with users improved and further developed app named Diabetes diary. Research has shown that good mobile applications can improve the health and quality of life for people with diabetes.Diabetes diary is now being launched as a result of this research. Further development is continuous dialogue with users of research projects and Diabetes diary will be regularly updated and expanded based on these inputs. Remember that you may not want others to have access to this information. For example you can protect it by locking your phone with a pattern or code. Normally database stored in a place that can only be read by Diabetes diary. If you choose to export the database, it will also be read by other applications.
