Lake Biwa covers one sixth of the area of Shiga prefecture and is the biggest in Japan. The 51 photo book contains the sceneries of a big tree at the shallow depth of the lake, beautiful blue water of the lake, Chikubujima and cherry blossoms, Biwako Ohashi which connects east and west shores, the gate of Shirahige Shrine in the lake, Ukimido profiled by the morning sun, which are all picturesque and beautiful.
