Overview:TextAutoReply is a service that runs on your phone to answer text messages when you can’t. It’s like an ‘Away Message’ for your phone. Whether you’re driving, in a meeting, or otherwise indisposed, you can let your friends and colleagues know that you’re unavailable. Starting and Stopping:Tap the button ‘AutoReply On’ to start the service. ‘AutoReply Off’ will stop it. You will see the TextAutoReply notification and icon at the top of the screen to let you know it is now answering texts for you. You can close the app and use your phone as normal, but all incoming texts will be automatically replied to by the message that you set. Clicking on this notification at any time will bring back the main application screen. To limit excessive messages, each contact will receive no more than one reply every 30 minutes. Changing your Reply:Tapping on the text of the AUTO REPLY message will allow you to edit what TextAutoReply responds with. Be sure to click ‘Set Reply’ to save your change and enable the new message. Texts are limited to 160 characters due to the way SMS messages work. Presets:You can save frequently used messages by tapping ‘Add To Presets’. This will add the currently displayed message to your list of Presets at the bottom of the screen. To use a preset, tap on the message from the Preset list and click ‘Set Reply’. To remove a preset, click and hold on the message from the Preset list and tap ‘Delete’ from the window that pops up.
