Beredskabsforbundet – The Danish Civil Protection League – is a non-profitorganisation working for the safety of the civil population. The league advancesfrom the willingness of Danish citizens to volunteer for the rescue preparedness inDenmark.The Beredskabsforbundet Reporter allows selected volunteers to record andupload incidents where volunteers are active for the benefit of the community. Thisincludes, but is not limited to, reports from live pull-outs, exercises, exhibitions,training sessions and meetings.The Danish Civil Protection League believes that a well educated volunteerresource is a natural part of both the national and municipal rescue preparedness.In face of an unexpected disaster the professional rescue units are not alwayssufficient, either due to the amount of helpers needed at once or the timely extent ofthe rescue activities. The volunteers are thus an indispensable supplement.The Danish Civil Protection League is a nation wide organisation with 7,500members, predominantly active volunteers in local firefighting and rescue teams.Use of this app requires a registered user name and password.
